Terms and Condition

  1. Liability

    • DwipaTrips acts as an agent that works between the guests and all villas listed on its portfolio.
    • DwipaTrips confirms a booking based on the up-to-date availability calendar of the villa.
    • DwipaTrips is not responsible with any activities which are not booked through and confirmed by us.
    • DwipaTrips is not responsible with any insurance. We strongly recommend the guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect them selves and all those accompanying the guests for the full time of their visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.
  2. Rates and Seasons

    • Rates of villas are categorized in "Low", "High" and "Peak" seasons, which are clearly stated in each webpage
    • All rates are quoted in United States dollars (US$)
    • Additional government tax & service charge are mostly applied. The percentage is vary between 15%, 15.5% up to 21%.
    • Each villa has different dates for each season depending on the villa owner and/or management policy.
  3. Minimum of Staying

    • Each villa has a different minimum of staying policy based on the season: Low or High or Peak season.
    • Average minimum consecutive stay during Low Season is 3 nights, during High Season is 5 7 nights and during the Peak Season is 7 10 nights
    • During the Peak Season period, some villa may apply a strict policy not to allow the guests checking out on December 31st.
  4. Maximum Occupancy

    • Each villa accommodates a certain maximum number of guests, which is clearly stated in the description of each villa. Normally it is 2 (two) adults or 2 (two) adults plus an infant in one bedroom.
    • Any reservation shall be for a specific number of guests.
    • Any additional person which may be exceeded from the maximum occupant in a villa is not permitted unless has been authorized by DwipaTrips and the owner and/or management of the villa.
    • Any additional extra bed, baby cot request must be informed prior to confirming the reservation. Price for additional bed varies based on policy of the villa.
  5. Payment System

    • DwipaTrips follows Terms of Payment issued by each villa.
    • There are 2 (two) times of payment required in order to secure the reservation such as:
      • 50% Down Payment is normally required to be settled within 5 (five) days after we sent the invoice to the guest
      • 50% Balance of Payment is required to be settled within 45 days prior to arrival dates except for August & Festive Season period as the time limit is 60 days prior to arrival.
    • For Last Minute Booking which is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, a full pre-payment is required to be settled immediately in order to guarantee the villa reservation
  6. Payment Through Wire Transfer

    • Bank details will be detailed in the Invoice.
    • Transfer must be done in 'full amount'. All bank transfer fee including fee for intermediary banks are guest account. DwipaTrips only receive NETT payment as stated on the invoice.
    • If the amount recorded is less than what stated at the invoice, then we will add it onto the Balance Payment Invoice and /or for a last minute booking, we will collect the short upon guests arrival on cash basis.
  7. Terms of Cancellation

    • DwipaTrips follows Terms of Cancellation issued by each villa.
    • Guests have full right to cancel their confirmed booking with any reason. Any cancellation must be stated in written.
    • About Cancellation with Down Payment
      • Please note that some villas may not accept a cancellation unless due to the nature which it neither has the power or authority to remedy, including without limitation, acts of God, acts of civil or military disturbances, power failures, fires, floods, epidemics, wars, riots and acts of terrorism.
      • Referring on the above point, as an agent DwipaTrips is only able to offer a deferral stay to minimize the guests lost.
      • For some villas whose the down payment is refundable in full less one night cancellation fee, a notification of the cancellation must be officially stated at least 60 days (on low season) and 90 days (on high/peak season) prior to arrival date.
      • If a booking is confirmed on a date less than 60 nights prior to arrival date, down payment is NON refundable.
    • About Refunding the down Payment
      • Administration fee range between US$ 100 US$ 200 shall be borne to guest own account
      • Cost of refunding shall be borne to guests' own account.
      • All bank transfers are at guests own account.
    • About Balance Payment:
      • All balance payment is NON refundable.
    • About Changing the Villa:
      • DwipTrips is not responsible if guests cancel their reservation upon arrival or just refuse to stay at the confirmed and fully paid villa with any reason. If this happen, DwipaTrips will only assist the guests to find other accommodation and all payments for the new found and confirmed villa are at guests' own account.
    • About Early Check Out:
      • DwipaTrips is not responsible if guests shorten their holiday period with any reason at a confirmed and paid villa prior to arrival date or upon arrival or within the holiday period and will not refund the rest of the payment.
  8. Airport Transfer

    • DwipaTrips provides one (1) time complimentary return airport transfers. 1 upon arrival and 1 upon departure.
    • Transfer is done with air-conditioned van, professional driver, and a reliable staff.
    • For multiple airport transfer service request, a surcharge of IDR 250.000 per van per 1 way will be applied.
    • Flight Information
      • DwipaTrips require the name of each guest to be submitted prior to final payment along with flight information for both arrivals and departures with respect to airport transfers. DwipaTrips will send a Guest Information Form along with the Invoice.
      • DwipaTrips is not responsible for all tickets
  9. Legality Registration

    • Please note that upon arrival by law every visitor to Indonesia has to register their arrival with the local authorities within 24 hours of the arrival.
    • In accordance of the above point, please provide a photocopy of each guest's passport to be submitted to the staff of the villa upon of shortly after arrival at the villa. However, if there is no such copy yet, guests must deliver passport of each person to the staff to make the copies.
    • The cost of the registration is at guests account; the amount depends on area where the villa is located. The normal fee is IDR 25.000 per passport.
  10. Villa Check In & Check Out Time

    • Normal check in time is after 14:00 pm and check out time is at 11: 00 am
    • Any late check out request must be clearly stated on upon submitting the flight detail information
    • A surcharge of 50% from daily normal rate is applied for late check out until 18:00 pm and a full daily villa rental fee will be charged for late check out after 18:00 pm
